Going Green at the Bratton Tennis Center

It is so cool to see Whitman continuing to strive towards environmental stewardship. We have already been recognized for our use of wind power from turbines in the hills surrounding Walla Walla and now our very own indoor courts are home to a huge array of solar panels!

More Academic Kudos

As summer rolls along, the GPA's come in and I'm happy to announce that our team has earned the distinction of being an ITA All-Academic team with a combined GPA above 3.2. For a list of all honoree's click here

Individually, with GPA's this year above 3.5, we had 4 ITA Scholar Athlete's:

Div - enjoying her success with a mellow summer in Eugene taking the MCAT and Physics at UofO.
Katie - finishing her college career strong with All-NWC scholar athlete award
Alex - highest female GPA of female varsity athlete's at Whitman!
Emily - huge 1st year impact playing top 3 doubles/top 6 singles all year to complement her scholastic achievements.
